A Russian-developed anxiety-reducing peptide that works on your brain's natural calming system (GABA), serotonin levels, and your body's built-in painkillers (enkephalins). It eases anxiety without making you drowsy, and there's no risk of dependence or withdrawal. It also gives your immune system a boost. Decades of clinical use in Russia with a great safety track record.
What to Expect
Week 1–2
Anxiolytic effects noticeable within hours to days. Improved mental clarity and reduced mental chatter. Better stress tolerance. Subtle mood elevation.
Week 3–6
Sustained anxiety reduction comparable to low-dose benzodiazepines without sedation. Improved cognitive flexibility. Better social comfort. Enhanced focus.
Week 8+
Stabilized mood and anxiety baseline. Improved immune markers. Cognitive benefits may plateau — cycle off and restart for renewed effects.
Common Side Effects
Scientific Overview
Selank (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) is a synthetic analog of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin with an added Pro-Gly-Pro sequence for metabolic stability. It modulates GABA-ergic, serotonergic, and dopaminergic neurotransmission, with anxiolytic effects demonstrated comparable to benzodiazepines without sedation or dependence. Selank has been shown to influence expression of 36 genes related to neurotransmitter balance, including upregulation of BDNF expression. Approved in Russia for generalized anxiety disorder and neurasthenia.
Dosing
250-500 mcg subq or nasal spray, 3 times a week or as needed. No tolerance builds up, so no cycling needed. Can be mixed in the same syringe with Semax, SS-31, or NAD+.
Practical Guide
Reconstitution
Intranasal: use pre-made nasal spray (typically 0.15% solution). Subq: mix 5mg with 1mL BAC water.
Storage
Refrigerate nasal spray and reconstituted solution. Use within 15-20 days after opening.
Injection Sites
Intranasal is the preferred and most common route. Alternate nostrils. Clear nose before spraying.
Timing
Morning dosing for daytime anxiety relief. Can split into 2-3 doses throughout the day. Avoid late evening if it causes alertness.
Food
No food interactions.
